On this page, we’ve invited our staff team to share a bit about themselves – including a photo either of themselves or of something they love/a hobby of theirs.
Carolyn Story – Chief Executive
Carrie is our Chief Executive, with overall responsibility for all AoR operations. She is accountable to a small Board made up of volunteers elected from the AoR membership, and works closely with them on longer term strategy and direction. Carrie works officially 2 days a week for the AoR but can be contacted on her non-AoR office number at other times. Outside work Carrie loves cooking, walking the coastal path in Devon, growing unusual house plants, and aims to grow most of her own vegetables (rabbits, slugs and caterpillars permitting!)
Vicci Mackenzie – Head of Membership and Social Media

Kathy Fear – Finance Manager:
Kathy has been the AoR’s Finance manager for over two years and works Mondays and Thursdays. She is the go to person for payroll and pensions; between them, she and her ‘partner in finance’, Brenda, are the accounts department. If she seems engrossed at her desk, she’s probably lost in a large complicated spreadsheet and has been known to get very excited over balancing her figures. Outside of work she loves spending time with her family and Louis the Labrador; that is, when she’s not singing soprano in several Somerset choirs.
Bronwen Packham – Head of Logisitcs:

Jo joined the Association in July 2004, and has worked in most areas but mainly in the membership department alongside Vicci. She was also involved in the setting up and running of the AoR sales department. Recently, Jo has joined the social media team and is looking forward to her new role.

He will be responsible for the smooth running and the maintenance of the AoR systems both customer facing and internal.
