Foot Health online module

Back to courses

This in-person practical course is designed exclusively for reflexologists who wish to deepen their understanding of foot and nail health and enhance the quality of care they offer clients. While reflexology focuses on holistic well-being, the condition of the feet and nails can reveal vital information about a client’s overall health. This course provides the essential knowledge needed to recognise, understand, and confidently discuss these changes.

You will explore the full anatomy of the nail unit, including nail structure, function, and growth patterns, as well as the internal and external factors that influence nail development. The course covers common nail and skin disorders, such as fungal infections, thickened or damaged nails, and conditions linked to systemic health issues. By learning how to identify these signs, you will be better equipped to advise clients on when to seek medical guidance, supporting earlier detection and intervention.

In addition, the course provides comprehensive foot and nail care guidance, helping you educate clients on maintaining healthy feet between treatments. You will gain clear, practical skills to provide, feet exfoliation, nail clipping, cuticle work, nail plate buffing, hot boot and mask treatments as well as a foot and leg massage protocol.
