Maternity Reflexology

Back to courses

Many people who are trying to conceive, as well as those already on their pregnancy journey, have found reflexology to be a valuable and supportive complement to their maternity care.

By developing an understanding of the challenges couples may face when trying to conceive, together with the physiological changes of pregnancy and the potential complications that can arise, reflexologists are well placed to provide a safe, supportive and holistic treatment. This specialist knowledge enables practitioners to offer meaningful care to a client group that often greatly values compassionate, complementary support.

Maternity Reflexology focuses on supporting individuals and couples throughout their journey to parenthood. From pre-conception and fertility support to pregnancy and preparation for labour, it offers reflexologists the opportunity to make a genuine difference during one of life’s most important experiences. It is an immensely rewarding and fulfilling area of practice.

Designed for qualified Level 3 Reflexologists and above, this comprehensive course provides an in-depth understanding of the reproductive system, reproductive health, current fertility treatments and approaches, alongside specialist reflexology techniques to support fertility, pregnancy, preparation for labour, and the common discomforts experienced during pregnancy.
