Introduction to Precision Reflexology

Back to courses

This long-established course is highly recommended for all qualified practitioners. It is a continuing professional development (CPD) course designed to develop skills for reflexologists who wish to be considered integrated healthcare professionals. The naturopathic principles involved can also be passed on to clients to increase their confidence and awareness concerning health issues.

The course is centred on Precision Reflexology and the ‘linking’ technique. It gives added insight into the holistic approach of reflexology. It also gives power and precision to all forms of the therapy for responding to the unique nature of each client. ‘Linking’ is a light-touch approach, which makes it appropriate for many situations and the course looks at different ways to respond to this individuality.

There are four in-person tuition days. The first two introduce Precision Reflexology and provide dedicated time to practice the new approach. The final two concentrate on developing and consolidating the technique.

The course covers:

• The rationale for Precision Reflexology – how this system provides a way to respond intuitively to the subtle energy of each client.
• Location of ‘linking’ reflexes – how to connect to specific reflexes to enhance treatments.
• Exploration of the concept of energy in relation to reflexology and the Chakras – realistic ways to make Precision Reflexology relevant to clients using natural healthcare.
• Practical sessions – an opportunity to experience aspects of the course to increase understanding and empathy within consultations.
• Foot massage – how this can be used as an effective treatment in its own right or to enhance reflexology sessions.
