The Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

CNHC is the UK voluntary regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners that was set up with government support to protect the public by providing a UK voluntary register of complementary therapists. CNHC’s register has been approved as an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care. This means CNHC has met the Professional Standards Authority’s demanding standards. All CNHC registered practitioners are entitled to use CNHC’s quality mark which demonstrates a commitment to professionalism and high standards. The public and those who commission the services of complementary healthcare practitioners can choose with confidence, by looking for the CNHC quality mark.

CNHC Registration

CNHC has agreed that the Association of Reflexologists may verify applications from our Honorary, Fellow and Full members for CNHC registration and we encourage members to register in order to gain the CNHC quality mark. Members wishing to register should complete the request to register form available above, and return it to the AoR. The AoR will forward your details from this to CNHC.

You will then receive an email from CNHC confirming that we have verified the disciplines that meet the CNHC criteria. This email will also invite you to apply to register via the CNHC’s website. This will enable you to complete your application online and pay your registration fee via CNHC’s website.  Once this is complete, CNHC will send you a registration certificate and your details will be added to the CNHC register.
