Covid-19 Government Update.  19th July 2021

In England, most Covid guidance and legal restrictions were lifted on the 19th July and we expect similar statements to follow from the other devolved governments over the coming weeks.

As legislation ends the move will be towards personal responsibilities.  Therefore AoR members will begin to transition from AoR Covid-19 Secure Hygiene Guidelines to Covid Hygiene Recommendations. Please contact your therapist for specific details as these may vary between the devolved governments.

The pandemic may not be over but we will continue to ensure that you are in safe hands when you choose an MAR therapist (Member of the Association of Reflexologists)

England

The Government has moved away from legislation but guidance remains in place for close contact services.  AoR members will be following AoR Covid Hygiene Recommendations

Scotland

Has moved to Covid Level 0 on the 19th July with the possibility that most legal requirements may be lifted on the 9th August (TBC).  AoR members will be following AoR Covid-19 Secure Hygiene Guidelines until legislation is lifted

The Association of Reflexologists (AoR) was established in 1984 and is a not-for-profit organisation. Today it is the foremost aspirational and independent professional association for reflexology in the UK providing support for more than five thousand members across the UK and overseas. The letters MAR after their name denotes their membership status – a sign of assurance that they have met the strictest standards of reflexology practice, they are insured to practise and that they are committed to continually developing their skills and knowledge.
