Seminar information: Introduction to HypnoReflexology by Dr Peter Mackereth HMAR
HypnoReflexology© has been developed to bring together therapeutic concepts derived from hypnotherapy and creative imagery with the art and skill sets of reflexologists. For example utilising deep relaxation combined with reflexology to explore and suggest ways of helping with a chronic symptom or making changes to improve health e.g. pain, smoking cessation.
HypnoReflexology© techniques and approaches have been used to assist with medical procedures with patients who report anxiety, phobias and panic. Additionally, the techniques could be useful for clients reporting anxiety related to examinations, interview and presentations. The study day looks how hypnotherapists could work together with reflexologists or for reflexologists to take further training in hypnotherapy and or to utilise techniques to deepen their relaxation and therapeutic skills.
The content of the day will include introduction to theory and practice of HypnoReflexology©. There will be practical demonstrations and some useful take home techniques to integrate into your everyday practice.
