Welcome to the Association of Reflexologists
The Association of Reflexologists is the foremost aspirational and independent Professional Reflexology Association in the UK since 1984, providing benefits, advice and guidance to reflexologists and working with other external bodies and advisory groups to promote the highest standards in the profession. The Association of Reflexologists is not for profit and is the only UK reflexology membership organisation that are members of both RiEN , and the Reflexology Forum and also the CNHC and has representation at the Parliamentary Group for Integrated and Complementary Healthcare (PGICH). The AoR and it's members are regularly contacted by the press to speak on reflexology.
On this site, you can find information about reflexology, professional reflexology training and CPD courses, publications, events and membership, as well as an online reflexology store where you can purchase reflexology equipment and supplies and an online search facility for members of the public, to find a highly qualified and professional reflexology practitioner near you. The Association of Reflexologists has been approved by the CNHC to verify applications for registration since 2009.
Since 1984, we have had over 25,000 members. The AoR provides support, information and guidance for thousands of members each year throughout the UK and overseas, and provides a Find a reflexologist search facility on this website to help promote reflexologists and aid members of the public to find a highly qualified, insured and recommended reflexology practitioner. Professional Reflexology Training
If you are looking for a qualification in reflexology it probably seems like there are millions of courses available, but which one is right for you? First of all it is worth thinking where you want to position yourself after your course; do you want to treat friends and family or are you hoping to make a living out of reflexology? If you want to make a career of being a reflexologist then it is important to make sure your qualification opens the right door for you in the future. Read about which qualifications are acceptable. Ofqual's Register of Regulated Qualifications contains details of Recognised Awarding Organisations and Regulated Qualifications in England (Ofqual), Wales (Welsh Government) and Northern Ireland (Ofqual for vocational qualifications and CCEA Accreditation for all other qualifications).
