Am I eligible for Full Membership of the AoR?
Full AoR membership
Full Membership of the Association of Reflexologists is open to practitioners of reflexology who have gained a qualification satisfying the AoR entry level criteria or who have satisfied the AoR that their training and practical skills meet the required standard.
Full Members of the Association of Reflexologists are entitled to use the designated letters MAR after their names, which stands for Member of the Association of Reflexologists. All Full and Associate Members must be fully insured to practise on the public.
Full and Associate members of the Association can be listed on the "Find a Reflexologist" search if requested.
Other membership categories
The AoR has different categories of membership, tailored to suit different purposes. One of these categories is "Friend membership". Some of our Friend members are people who trained as reflexologists but decided not to become practitioners. Others are practitioners who, for a variety of personal reasons, gave up their practice while still retaining an interest in reflexology. A number of reflexologists in other countries have also joined as Friend members. Indeed, anyone who has an interest in reflexology may apply to become a Friend member.
