About the AoR
Welcome to the Association of Reflexologists (AoR).
The Association was founded in 1984. It arose from a need to establish standards and to provide a network of qualified practitioners to which the public could refer with confidence.
The aim of the Association is to help maintain a high standard of practice and patient care and to promote reflexology. Members are bound by the Association's Codes of Practice and Ethics.
The AoR exists to promote and progress reflexology providing support for over 7,000 members throughout the UK and overseas. Our members are qualified practitioners, or those undergoing training for a professional qualification.
We provide support for our members in the form of training, advice and guidance, publications and events, and set standards for the education of Reflexologists.
The AoR is a member of the Reflexology Forum and Reflexology in Europe Network. We are proud of our involvement and are committed to these partnerships.
The AoR is a non-profit making organisation managed by an annually elected Board supported by the AoR Chief Executive.
The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) regulates reflexology. Some AoR members are registrants.
